Treg Spicer

Head Pastor

Treg was born and raised in Southeastern Ohio. Baptized a Catholic, church was the last thing on his family’s mind during his childhood. After hearing kids talk about Sunday school in his public elementary school he asked his parents if he could go too. This lead to a series of events that eventually brought them all to the saving knowledge of Christ.

Treg met his wife Carrie at Pensacola Christian College and they were married at Faith in Morgantown in 2002. After serving in churches in Ohio and North Carolina, the Spicers ended up back in Morgantown in 2014. He is only the second pastor in the churches fifty-four year history.

Treg enjoys golfing with his boys, competing in local races and triathlons, and traveling to sporting events with his family. To read his blog or listen to his podcast go to www.tregspicer.com

Jason May

College Pastor

Jason grew up in southern West Virginia, where he was raised in a Christian church pastored by his grandfather.  As a boy he attended a Christian summer camp in Virginia, where as a camper he gave his life to the Lord, and later became a regular camp counselor.  After graduating high school, where he met his wife Kristyn, Jason moved to Morgantown as a student at West Virginia University.

Jason felt God leading him to stay at Faith Baptist Church after graduating from WVU.  Jason’s personal experience as a student at WVU, and his heart for the local college students are central to his work in the Cross Impact ministry.  As the College Pastor, he strives to teach and disciple our college students to love God with their heart and mind.

David Pledger

Youth Pastor

David grew up in central North Carolina where he cultivated an enjoyment of Tar Heels basketball and coffee. He was raised in a Christian family and attended church all his life. Upon graduating high school, David attended Pensacola Christian College and earned a B.S. in Sport Management. During his junior year of college he met his now wife, Mollie.

During David’s senior year he felt God working in his life and was leading him away from his initial desire to open up a gym after graduating college. God led him to continue working at PCC. After getting married, he and Mollie travelled as Representatives for PCC. During their time of traveling God crossed their path with Faith Baptist Church and gave them the desire to move to West Virginia and join the team here at FBC.
